Accessibility
Last updated 8 September 2026
Yoga should be reachable by everyone, and so should this website. We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our target standard.
What we do
- Semantic headings, landmarks and labels so screen readers can navigate the site.
- Keyboard access to every interactive control, with visible focus.
- Text contrast checked against AA thresholds, and text that resizes without breaking layout.
- Alternative text on meaningful images, and captions or transcripts on our own recorded sessions where available.
- Respect for reduced-motion preferences.
Known limitations
Some content is supplied by studios and teachers — photos, videos, PDFs and descriptions — and we cannot guarantee its accessibility. Live video sessions may not have real-time captions. We fix reported issues as a priority and ask Providers to improve their material.
Accessible practice
Many teachers offer chair, adaptive, trauma-informed and low-vision friendly classes. Ask a studio directly about step-free access, hearing loops, gender-neutral changing rooms and support animals before booking.
Report a barrier
Email accessibility@yogaconnect.com with the page and what happened. We aim to reply within 5 business days and to offer an accessible alternative while we fix the underlying issue.
