Privacy policy

The short version

YogaConnect exists to connect you with yoga studios, teachers and classes. We collect only what is needed to run your account and your bookings. We never sell your data, we do not run third-party advertising, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

What we collect

• Account details — your name and email address when you sign up.
• Practice preferences — styles, goals, experience level and the area you practise in, so we can suggest classes.
• Bookings — the classes you request or book, and their status.
• Messages — conversations between you and a studio or teacher.
• Purchases — subscription and course payments, handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your card number.
• Basic technical data — pages viewed and errors, used to keep the site working.

Who sees it

When you request or book a class, the studio or teacher receives your name, email and your message so they can reply and hold your place. Nobody else sees your details. Our service providers — hosting, database, email delivery and payments — process data on our behalf under contract, and only for that purpose.

Emails

We send booking confirmations, reminders and replies from teachers. You can turn off non-essential email from your profile at any time; booking confirmations remain because they are part of the service you asked for.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account and its data at any time from My account → Profile → Delete account, in the app or on the website. Deletion removes your profile, preferences, saved listings and messages. Booking records held by a studio for their own accounting may remain with that studio.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, or have it erased. Email hello@yogaconnect.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Children

YogaConnect is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. Classes for children are booked by a parent or guardian through their own account.
