Ten-minute wind-down
Three practices chained into one evening session.
Ready
10 minutes
10:00
Stop and breathe normally if you feel dizzy.
What it is
Coherent breathing, then extended exhale, then a long soft sigh, cycling to the end of the timer.
A single practice can feel abrupt. Chaining them steps the body down gradually, which is what actually helps at the end of a day.
How to do it
- 1Lie down with a cushion under the knees.
- 2Follow the circle — the counts lengthen on their own as you go.
- 3Stay put for a minute after the timer ends.
Before you start
- Keep it comfortable. Breath work should never feel like straining; shorten the counts before you force them.
