What to expect
- Lying on a mat with a bolster under the knees and a blanket over you.
- Lights down, and 45 to 75 minutes of continuous sound.
- Waves of gong or bowl sound you feel as much as hear.
- A slow return at the end, and no rush to get up.
Good to know
- Bring warm layers and socks — you cool down fast lying still.
- Falling asleep is completely normal and not a problem.
- Tell the facilitator beforehand about pregnancy, epilepsy, a pacemaker, metal implants, tinnitus or sound sensitivity.
